April 21, 2008, Canton, MI  On April 20, 2008 at 23:36 hours Canton Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on North Pointe in Canton. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames visible throughout the house. Firefighters entered the building and extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There was significant damage to the structure. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no reported injuries.
