"Who's in you Wallet?" Seminar

August 28, Canton, MI  Canton Police Department in conjunction with Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy's Office is offering "Who's in your Wallet?" an informational seminar addressing computer crimes and Internet safety. The event will feature guest speakers from the Canton Police Department and Wayne County Prosecutor's Office providing information on how to protect yourself from identity theft and other computer crimes. Guest speakers from the prosecutor's office will also give an overview on how their office works with victims and local police departments to prosecute these types of crimes.

"Who's in your Wallet" is being held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Summit on the Park in Canton. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m., and the program runs from 7-9 p.m. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required by calling 734/394-5460 before October 6, 2008.

There will be time allotted for questions and answers after the seminar. This event is for adults only and is free of charge. Light refreshments will be served. For further information contact Community Relations Sergeant Deb Newsome at 734/394-5424.
