Police ask for assistance with ID of suspect
April 22, 2009, Canton, MI Canton Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspected pictured in the attached photo. The suspect described only as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches is pictured exiting the Speedway gas station on Lilley & Ford Road in Canton.
Store surveillance video from two different occasions (March 20 and April 1) shows the suspect entering the store after midnight and asking the cashier for a carton of cigarettes. When the clerks back is turned he removes the donation jar and exits the store.
