The Canton Public Safety Department has recently added an Emergency Management section to their web site. This new section explains what Canton's Emergency Management Division is, and what it is responsible for providing to the community. Also included is an information section that includes a variety of documents and handouts available for downloading or printing, related to public safety and emergency preparedness. This section includes handouts on preparing for natural weather emergencies, information on the pandemic flu, a family preparedness guide for the home and a Site Emergency Planning Workbook for businesses, schools and stores, just to name a few. This web site will continue to grow in order to provide up-to-date information on all issues related to emergency preparedness and public safety.
