House explodes in Canton
Investigation Update
November 20, 2007, Canton, MI - Investigation indicates that the cause of the explosion was an accidental natural gas leak inside the home.
The fire department will be cooperating with the insurance company as they conduct a more in-depth investigation. The site is being secured with a temporary fence and the Canton Police Department will conduct regular patrols in the area.

House Explosion – Injury Update
November 20, 2007, Canton, MI – The occupants inside the home at the time of the explosion were a 64-year old male and a 64-year old female. Both are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Day and Time of Alarm 11/20/07 at 0759 hours
463 Waterview Court, Canton, Michigan
At the above date and time Canton emergency dispatch received multiple calls of a house explosion. Location was determined to be 463 Waterview Court.
The two occupants of the home were injured and were transported to the hospital by Canton Fire Department paramedics. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a home collapsed due to an explosion. Firefighters found the victims in the backyard and transported them to the hospital. The Fire Investigation Team is on scene to determine the cause of the fire with the assistance of DTE.
