September 4, 2007, Canton, MI – Due to safety concerns for pedestrians and motorists, Canton Public Safety has issued a temporary traffic regulation prohibiting the parking of vehicles on or along Denton Road between Proctor Road and Rockefeller, from September 4 through October 29, 2007.  This regulation is issued in accordance with the Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships and Villages, R28.1127, Rule 127.

This temporary regulation is being put into effect to eliminate the parking of vehicles on Denton Road for those attending soccer practices and/or games at Independence Park.  Participants and attendees should use the designated parking lots in the park.
