Pancho was born on September 08, 2001 in the Czech Republic.  He came to the United States on August 23, 2003 where he was certified by both the National Association for Professional Canine Handlers (NAPCH) and the K-9 Academy in Wayne, Michigan. 

Pancho is trained to search for persons, objects used during the commission of a crime, evidence from a crime, and illicit narcotics in all types of unfavorable conditions including containers and housing environments.  Pancho lives and trains with his handler, Officer Bryan Szostak, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Upon his retirement, Pancho will remain in the care of Officer Szostak and his family.
